I want to get strawberries to make an energy booster. I think I need to plant the strawberries (first its tomatoes) but were do i plant tomatoes?
The tomatoes go in the soil, this should be found in the gardening section near where you are selecting plants for your lot. You can also get sprinklers there, but your sims will get more gardening points if they handwater their plants. (You will have to be more careful that they don’t overwater though. ) They also get gardening points for tending or spraying plants or harvesting plants. It works about the same as most of the Open for Business badges.
i don’t have the sims 2 seasons but i bet theres somewhere in the ground on the lot you have that you can plant tomatoes, if not try going to ur building options and try to see if theres a garden icon maybe that will help you, also to gain your garden skill up i suppose you can get alot of cash using the 50,000 simbucks cheat = Ctrl + Shift + C + motherlode , then buy as many seeds as you can and plant them all, then speed up the time to the fastest possible speed, and watch as ur tomatoes grow my friend.

You plant the plants in special soil which you find in a new tab under gardening. You have to just keep gardening until your skills go up. You earn badges just like in OFB.
