My neighbor says to use railroad ties but those might not fit with our look in the backyard. I was thinking more along the lines of some 2×6′s that are pre-treated to prevent rotting. Will this affect the chemicals that enter the soil? Are they dangerous? Does anyone have any good links to help with the building and prep work for a new veggie garden?
I’m think of making four 4×4 squares for the garden. Any tips would be great.

I am currently using Miracle Grow Garden soil. Should I continue using this when I transplant them to their final bed?
Someone on YA said to use “plant food”, can you tell me what kind?

Hey there, so I went to ACE hardware today, and bought some containers for my vegetables, I did what hte lady reccomended and bought 4 bags of Miracle gro vegetable and plant soil, so I have it out in my garage, but upon further reading it, I noticed it said not to be used in containers!! Will it be okay if I do use it in there? Or not? Help!
