One was planted a few years ago and they have since multiplied and grow like weeds through out the spring and summer. They are taking over my garden!

I’ve searched amazon, B&N, etc., but I haven’t found a book that focuses on Arkansas.
Thanks!

I have lots of plants, bushes and shrubs in my garden, and I have forgotten what some of them are. They are looking a little bit unloved, and I want to find out what I should do – but I can’t look it up because I don’t know what they are!
Is there a website or anything anywhere which helps you to identify plants and shrubs? I had a look and couldn’t find anything.
Thanks!

One side of my courtyard garden in Aegean Turkey gets no direct sun at all.
There is no problem with frost but the winters are very wet and the summers very dry. Temperatures can go as high as the upper 30s c. The soil is very alkali.
Jasmine and honeysuckle are both doing OK but not flowering (only planted last year) but everything else has failed.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
(common as well as Latin names much appreciated – Turkish translations even more so!)

I live in Northern Virginia (zone 6) and am planning out my garden for the year. I’m looking for a good mixture of suitable flowering plants for a garden that only has direct sunlight for 2-3 hours a day. I’m willing to change out plants through the growing season, though I would like some perennials.

I have recently had my front garden landscaped, mostly shingle and groups of rocks. Very low maintenance but rather bare (my daughter calls it “Stonehenge”). I am considering ornamental grasses, but would like some colour and cover. I must admit I am not an enthusiast!

I am planting a meditation garden, that has moderate to deep shade. I already have Kentucky Bluegrass and Hostas installed, but am looking for some other ideas for color. Suggestions, anybody?
