Do you think its safe for a garden to be placed beside a sinkhole filled with junk?
I live in a huge suburban area. I am thinking of planting a veggie garden, but I am wondering it it is safe. Who knows what kind of chemicals people use on their lawns.. does it get into the ground water?? Anybody have any experience with this?
I use cloth pads and soak them in a bucket of cold water when I’m done. Is it safe to use this water on my vegetable garden? I’ve heard it makes a great fertilizer.
I’m thinking of doing cupcakes in the small pots from your local garden supply store.
This is the first year we are using Beneficail Nemetodes in our garden. And we dont know if we can still use (Seven) a powder to kill the bugs on the plants? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
With my little boy we have just dug and composted an area in the garden for veg/fruit. I wanted to do this to show them how to grow things for themselves when they are older. Problem is i havnt a clue really, i have put a mesh fence around it to stop the dog or cats toileting. What can i do about creepy crawlies.
We have lettuce and carrot seeds, i have 4 strawberry plants and 2 tom plants on my kitchen window. They are getting a bit big now should they go in the garden. How do i protect everything in a organic/ safe way ie no chemicals pellets etc. Thanks for any help.
Two of my cats have been hit by cars in tne past 8 weeks and are lucky to have survived although one will probably lose a front paw. I have a 30 foot garden which is fully fenced but the cats can climb over the top. Does anyone have any ideas how to perhaps use netting on top of the fencing to keep the cats in the garden?
Any help would be much appreciated as I feel am being cruel by keeping them indoors as they are used to going outside.
