I planted a package of wildflower seeds, some have started to sprout. I want to make sure I don’t mistake them for a weed. I know a few of the persistant weeds but I can’t really tell they all look somewhat similiar.

Does anyone know of a good gardening web site where I can find a list of what kind of plants and vegtables to plant and when to plant them ? I have for some unknown reason been bitten by the “bug” and am chomping at the bit to give it a try… I used to really enjoy working in my familys flower and vegtable garden when I was a child.
I would like to have some kind of plants or flowers to grow most of the year…as far as the vegtable garden I was thinking along the lines of the more basic items…corn, tomatoes, squash, beans, melons..things like that, but things i could grown and tend to throughout the year.
I know that this may seem like a big question, but I really think I can do this…grow things I mean.
Any advice ya’ll could give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Michael

I am planning on putting in a vegetable garden this spring and would like to do some research first. Especially on natural ways to keep bugs away, i.e. using different flowers and other plants. If you know of any good websites to go to let me know.

My mom loves gardening and little things in her yard to show off. What are good sites for gardening and yard statues or home decorations?
