I will resign from my job next week (in the UK) to start work with my employers main competitor. My existing contract is 3 months notice which I know my company will put me straight on to gardening leave. The problem is my new employer wants me to start as soon as possible and I am also happy to do so but can I be employed by two company’s at once. My current employer takes all my equipment away eg laptop etc so I am unable to do any work for them but I am still bound by the 3 month notice and they will not finish it earlier. Any help would be appreciated – UK laws apply. Thanks

I want a decent size organic garden. I would like a lot of tomatoes, green beans, herbs, zuccine, eggplant, squash, lettuces, peppers, and corn. When do I start? Can I start them from seeds now? What can I plant to keep pests away? Any advise would be great.

I’ve never gardened, and I just moved into my own home with a wonderful backyard that has a good place for a garden. I would love to grow a pretty garden of flowers and some vegetables. I just don’t know how to start! Could I please have some tips on how to start a garden, and when to start one! (I live in wisconsin, and our last snowfall was yesterday. SO, just to keep that in mind).
Thank you!

I’ve always been interested in growing my own pesticide free organic vegetables, but it always seemed like such a tough thing to just pick up and start.
I live in central Florida on near the coast and its typical florida weather here. Could someone point me in the direction of how to start a vegetable garden particularly full of peppers, cucumbers, and lettuce?

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction as far as what I need to know, tips, and the best websites to visit?
I’m hoping to plant some vegetables like tomatoes and green beans, and transfering in a fully grown fruit tree, like apple, and a palm tree.
I live in a hot climate and I’m pretty sure the soil is mostly clay, if that helps.
Thanks for any help!

I was thinking about starting an outdoor organic garden in the spring and I was wondering what I should do to start it…I’m thinking about growing veggies like tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, zuchtinnis, and pumpkins. Can you give me tips on growing each veggie? How much water do they need? Direct or indirect sunlight? Anything else?
