Also lettuce, will this be able to last through 20F. We have a garden and these plants are obviously still in the growing. Mainly this freezing temperature will be through the night.
cover them loosely with sheets weighted down with bricks if you are willing to risk it, otherwise harvest them now.
I think you will have to cover them at night and uncover them in the daytime. The lettuce will probably still get burned, so pick what will last in the frige.
For cabbage, it depends on how long those temperatures last. If you’re getting 20F now you’ll likely get colder later on. I doubt cabbage will survive that.
Lettuce never survives that kind of cold.
